dotNoble Refund Policy
Effective
date: Oct 1, 2026
This Refund Policy applies to all services
provided by dotNoble (Pty) Ltd
(registration number 2026/610008/07) (“dotNoble”, “we”, “us” or “our”),
including hosting ordered through Noble
Choices Consult (Pty) Ltd (registration number 2026/486446/07), for which
dotNoble provides all hosting services. It forms part of the dotNoble Terms of Service.
1. 30-day money-back guarantee (shared hosting packages
only)
dotNoble offers a 30-day money-back
guarantee on the following shared hosting packages:
•
Peasant’s Plot
•
Noble House
•
Baron’s Estate
•
Royal Dynasty
1.1
Domain deduction for packages with a free domain
Where a package includes a free domain and a refund is requested, the standard
domain registration fee will be deducted from the refund amount. Domain
registrations are non-refundable, even when provided free as part of a hosting
package.
2. Refund eligibility and Terms of Service compliance
Refunds are only available if the customer
has fully complied with the dotNoble
Terms of Service.
If a customer’s account is suspended or
terminated due to any violation of our Terms of Service – including but not
limited to prohibited activities, abuse, spam, misuse of resources, illegal
content or policy breaches – the customer will not be eligible for a refund,
even if the request falls within the 30-day period.
dotNoble reserves the right to determine,
at its sole discretion, whether a violation has occurred.
3. Website migrations
dotNoble provides professional website
migration services. Because migrations require paid professional labour,
customers must fully test their hosting account before requesting a migration,
and confirm that they are satisfied with:
•
Server performance and speed
•
cPanel usability and features
•
Compatibility with their
requirements
Once a migration has been completed and
work has been performed on the account, dotNoble has already incurred the cost
of the service. For this reason, no refunds will be issued after a migration
has been performed, even if the request falls within the 30-day money-back
period.
4. Non-refundable services
The following services are non-refundable
under any circumstances.
4.1
Domain registrations All domain registrations are
strictly non-refundable, whether purchased separately or included with a
hosting package.
4.2
Domains included with hosting packages Domains
received free or bundled with a hosting package are also non-refundable. If the
hosting package itself qualifies for a refund, the domain registration fee will
always be deducted.
4.3
VPS, cloud hosting and dedicated servers No refunds
are offered for VPS, cloud hosting, dedicated servers, VPS upgrades, VPS
add-ons, VPS licences, operating system licences, control panel licences,
additional IP addresses, backup services, management services, storage
upgrades, storage add-ons, or any other VPS-, cloud- or server-related products
or services. All VPS, cloud hosting and dedicated server purchases are final.
Customers are encouraged to review the service specifications fully before
placing an order.
4.4
Website design and development services All
payments are final due to the time, labour and resources involved.
4.5
Overpayments and added account funds Any funds
added to your account via EFT beyond the required payment amount are
non-refundable. These funds may be used as a credit balance towards future
hosting invoices, domain registrations or other dotNoble services, but cannot
be refunded under any circumstances.
4.6
Subscription billing and recurring payments All
hosting services provided by dotNoble are subscription-based services billed on
a recurring basis unless cancelled by the customer. Customers who subscribe
using PayFast or any recurring payment method authorise automatic recurring
charges according to their selected billing cycle.
It is the customer’s responsibility to
submit a cancellation request through the client area before the next invoice
is generated if they no longer wish to continue the service. Not using the
hosting service, domain or server does not automatically cancel the
subscription or recurring billing agreement. dotNoble cannot determine whether
a customer no longer wishes to use a service unless an official cancellation
request has been submitted.
No refunds will be issued for recurring
payments or automatic charges processed because the customer failed to submit a
cancellation request before invoice generation or payment collection. Customers
are solely responsible for cancelling any recurring subscription or billing
agreement linked to PayFast or any other payment provider.
4.7
Service provisioning Services that are provisioned,
deployed, configured, activated, licensed or otherwise delivered by dotNoble
are considered consumed on provisioning. Once provisioning has started, no
refund is available for the service, regardless of whether the customer later
uses it.
4.8
Chargebacks and payment disputes Initiating a
chargeback, payment reversal, payment dispute or unauthorised transaction claim
for a valid service provided by dotNoble is a material breach of the dotNoble
Terms of Service. dotNoble reserves the right to immediately suspend or
terminate all associated services while the dispute is investigated.
Any chargeback fees, administrative costs,
legal costs, collection fees or other expenses incurred by dotNoble as a result
of a payment dispute may be charged to the customer. Customers agree to first
try to resolve billing disputes directly with dotNoble before initiating a
chargeback or payment reversal.
5. Refund processing
Refunds will be paid using the original
payment method where possible. If the original payment method cannot be used,
valid banking details will be required to process the refund. Refunds typically
reflect within 5–7 business days after approval and processing.
